EVERYTHING IoT

about us

Eitan B&W summit 2017.jpg

Everything IoT is a new model for corporates and startups innovation providing knowledge, access and funding. We accelerate innovation by providing advice to corporates, mentorship to startups and thought leadership through our community of technology developers and implementers.

Our Story

Everything IoT was founded by entrepreneur and investor Eitan Bienstock in 2015. Its mission is to provide Australia’s startup ecosystem with focus, global perspective and connections to multinational corporations.

With the active support of leading corporates and government organisations including Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Telstra, Commonwealth Bank, CSIRO/ DATA61 and Transport for NSW, we produce highly curated events bringing together international thought leaders and thousands of people from industry, startups, universities, government and the investment community.

We run Global Summits, Industry Forums, IoT Hackathons and Startup Competitions to build a vibrant IoT community in Australia and a resources library that includes video, white papers and a corporate IoT implementation guide.

Everything IoT strives to enable and accelerate technology innovation by forging collaborations, developing thought leadership and investing in solutions that do good by creating efficiencies and new products and services in sectors ranging Energy, Agriculture, Transport, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail and many more.

We believe IoT has the potential to create a better world. IoT is not just about connecting the physical world to the digital world, it is about being able to measure in detail, and apply analytics and AI to enable better monitoring and continuous improvements.

We support ‘Measure for Good’ and are looking forward to continuing developing and investing in this exciting space.

We look forward to seeing you at an Everything IoT event soon.

Measure for Good

Measure for Good™ is our way to assess the true value of connecting the physical to the digital worlds. While the Internet of Things enables the connection of Everything to the internet, the challenge remains in determining which applications bring real value. The technology is widely available today, the question is what benefits such a connection brings and is there a viable and sustainable business model supporting it. Do we really need to connect our toaster to the Internet?

The Internet of Things is often referred to as the third wave in the development of the Internet with 20 to 30 billion devices connected by 2020 and trillions of dollars in economic value. Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are integrated parts of IoT and together provide efficiencies and disruptive products and services. And while it is expected to touch every aspect of our lives in ways we can’t fully imagine today, we can already see many successful applications being rolled out.

Often IoT makes the physical environment smart. An IoT solution includes five components: A sensor device, a communication network, a cloud-based database, data analytics/AI and a smart application. These five elements put together to enable things like the smart Home, Smart Cities, Smart Health and Smart Commerce to name a few. They are also an integrated part of Autonomous Vehicles, Drones and Robots.

While IoT is a horizontal technology with applications everywhere, we focus our efforts enabling, supporting and accelerating innovations in the following six areas:

  • Agriculture/Food,

  • Healthcare/Wellbeing,

  • Cities/Transport,

  • Home/Properties,

  • Retail/Commerce,

  • Energy/Resources,
